PayPal were looking to recruit staff for 2 of their European call centres – Berlin, Germany and Dundalk, Ireland. The briefs for each site were quite different:
- The Germany brief was two-fold; targeting people who would want to work in a call-centre in Germany and surrounding countries that speak fluent German and also fluent Dutch speakers who would relocate to Berlin.
- The Ireland brief was to raise the profile of PayPal as an employer of choice in Ireland and to prompt potential Call Centre workers to relocate/commute to Dundalk.
Feedback was very positive and both hiring managers were extremely pleased with the results of the campaign. For Germany they told us that they received an ‘influx’ of Dutch speakers to their site and the Dundalk hiring manager told us that they saw an uplift in site traffic and applications and said that many applicants told them that they didn’t know PayPal had an Irish base before seeing the posters.
