Brief: Historically, Morrisons were using Hootsuite to manage bulk messaging through two of their social media channels – Facebook and LinkedIn. However, they asked us to manage their Graduates Facebook account on their behalf to raise brand awareness with a relatively niche audience.

Results:

Within 6 months of us managing the activity, Google Analytics showed that Facebook attributed to 2,611 unique visits to the Morrisons’ Graduates website, compared to 99 in the 6 months prior when Morrisons were managing it directly. Our overall end of campaign report showed that there was a 25% uplift in Social Media engagement compared with the campaign the previous year where social listening activity was not factored in to the overall strategy.
